Jorgen House and Brarista announce their partnership

Brarista is proud to announce our newest partnership with Jorgen House, the British brand engineered for the changing shapes of womanhood.

Founded by Leah Jorgensen, a designer with a background in lingerie, swim, surf and sportswear, Jorgen House was born from a frustration many mothers know well: clothing that fits your body for a few weeks, then doesn't. Leah started with the piece she couldn't find anywhere - a maternity sports bra she could both work out and breastfeed in - and built a range around a single idea: our bodies change constantly, so our clothing should change with us. Every piece is made from an engineered knit with targeted compression zones and adaptive stretch, without underwires or irritating seams, produced sustainably from recycled and natural fibres.

For a brand whose whole promise is "from pre-natal to post, through motherhood and beyond", the questions shoppers ask are rarely a neat "what's my size". They arrive mid-change: pregnant, nursing, recovering from surgery, navigating menopause. Jorgen House needed a fit experience that could hold those conversations with the same care Leah put into the product. And so this is when we switched off Shopify Inbox and built something great together.

"Our bodies are in a constant state of flux - pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I wanted our customers to be able to get instant, reliable advice on the products and fits that would actually suit them, right when they need it."
- Leah Jorgensen, Founder, Jorgen House

Your Fit Guide: Brarista, in Jorgen House's own voice

The first thing you notice on the Jorgen House site is that the chatbot doesn't look or sound like a bolted-on widget. It's called Your Fit Guide, it carries the Jorgen House logo and palette, and every reply reads like the brand wrote it - because in a very real sense, they did. Brarista is fully co-branded: we consult each partner on their products, sizing logic and tone of voice, then shape the experience around it. The only clue there's serious fitting intelligence underneath is the line at the top of the window: "Co-created and trusted by expert bra fitters."

That line isn't decoration. It's the foundation of everything below.

Shop by life stage: the conversations a size chart can't have

Jorgen House shoppers arrive at four very different moments - pregnancy, breastfeeding, post-surgery, menopause - and Your Fit Guide meets each one where she is.

Ask "I want something I can wear when breastfeeding but that's hidden under a shirt?" and the reply is specific, not generic: "The Magnetic Bra is a great option for breastfeeding while remaining discreet under a shirt. It's seamless and non-underwired, providing comfort and ease with its one-handed magnetic clasps." Then it goes one step further, suggesting the Maternity Sports Bra for support across different activities - a natural, fitter-style cross-sell that happens in every conversation, not just when a merchandiser remembered to set up a "you may also like" rule.

Ask "I am going through menopause, what products are suitable for me?" and the guidance leads with how it should feel - "styles that feel soft, secure, and easy to wear all day" - before showing the pieces that deliver it.

And on the question every retailer worries about most - "I've recently had a mastectomy and surgery, are your bras suitable and comfortable?" - the answer opens with empathy, recommends the genuinely appropriate pieces ("Our softer, non-restrictive styles, such as the Sleep Bra and Lounge Bra... seamless and gentle, making them ideal for post-surgery recovery"), and then does something most chatbots never do: it knows its limits. "If you need further personal support or recommendations, please feel free to contact our team at info@jorgenhouse.com."

That handoff matters. It's the difference between a tool that competes with a customer service team and one that works alongside it - handling the 2am questions confidently, and passing the sensitive ones to a human with grace rather than guessing. For the shopper, it means never being stuck with an AI when what she needs is a person. Brarista is designed to complement a brand's existing customer service, never replace it.

Shop by feature and style: answers that hold the sale

Not every shopper arrives with a life stage in mind. Some just want the right piece. Ask "What is the most supportive bra you have?" and Your Fit Guide replies with a real recommendation - the Maternity Sports Bra, with high-impact support and a true to size fit note - then offers to go further: "I've also found some matching options in that size. If you want, I can narrow them down by the kind of support, coverage, or feel."

That one exchange is doing three jobs at once. For the shopper, it answers the question and shows what else exists in her size - no digging through collection pages. For the retailer, it keeps the conversation going instead of dead-ending, which is the behaviour behind the results our partners see: 34% higher AOV, and shoppers who are 85% less likely to return items.

Ask "What products are good for night sweats?" and the reply reads the need behind the question - breathable, comfortable overnight wear - surfaces the Sleep Bra, Lounge Bra and Magnetic Bra, and offers to narrow down by detail. No keyword matching, no "sorry, I didn't understand that". A conversation.

The details underwear experts (and consumers) will notice

A few things in these conversations are easy to miss in passing, and impossible to miss once you know what good fitting looks like.

  • Every product card carries an AI Fit note. "True to size", shown right on the recommendation, with price and a Quick View button - so the shopper moves from question to product page without leaving the conversation. The chatbot doesn't just chat; it merchandises.

  • The recommendations come from the live catalogue. Your Fit Guide only ever suggests real Jorgen House products, grounded in the brand's own sizing logic, which Brarista consulted on directly during onboarding. Ask a generic AI chatbot for a bra size and you'll get three different answers in three conversations. Brarista's sizing runs on strict, deterministic rules the AI cannot override - the consistency of a professional fitter, available 24/7.

  • It carries the brand's knowledge, not just its logo. Jorgen House's S/M/L sizing, the way the adaptive knit is designed to stretch with a changing body, which pieces suit recovery versus high-impact - it's all in there, because our onboarding embeds the brand's expertise the same way you'd train a new member of the fitting team. Once. Thoroughly. And it never forgets.

  • It reduces tickets without hiding the humans. The everyday fit and product questions get answered instantly, any hour of the day; the sensitive or complex ones reach the Jorgen House team's inbox. Shoppers get faster answers, and the team gets more time for the conversations that genuinely need them.

"As a small company, we don't have the manpower to create a truly personalised fitting service ourselves. Partnering with Brarista, who bring such a detailed, consumer-focused and accurate approach to fitting, has been a really exciting step forward in the Jorgen House journey."

- Leah Jorgensen, Founder, Jorgen House

Why Jorgen House chose Brarista and dropped Shopify Inbox

When I started building Brarista, AI was such a foreign concept to most of the shoppers we spoke to that convincing anyone to trust it with something as personal as their bra size was, honestly, the highest commercial risk on the board in every product meeting we had.

What changed my mind was noticing where the hardest questions came from. Not "what's my size in a t-shirt bra", but "I've just had surgery, will this hurt", or "my body has completely changed and I don't recognise my own size any more". Those are the exact moments a size chart abandons you - and the exact moments Jorgen House's shoppers are living through. Getting those right, with warmth, accuracy, and the humility to hand over to a human when it matters, is the whole point.

The intimate-wear world is finally catching up (I know - only took us six years or so). A brand like Jorgen House, that designs for real bodies through real change, is exactly why the wait was worth it.

"We moved to Brarista for their dedication to accurate fitting and genuinely personalised service. The team are skilled, knowledgeable, and the whole process has been incredibly smooth."

- Leah Jorgensen, Founder, Jorgen House
