BRABAR's philosophy has always centred on fit education: helping shoppers understand how to measure properly, how lingerie sizing works, and why the right fit changes everything. But translating that depth of knowledge into the online shopping experience was hard.

Bra sizing in the US is notoriously inconsistent, with different brands interpreting the same measurements in wildly different ways. For a brand that had built its identity around fixing exactly that problem, a one-size-fits-all digital solution wasn't going to work.

Rather than directing customers to a static size guide or leaving them to figure it out alone, it keeps shoppers engaged and guided throughout, connecting measurement to product recommendation without friction.



Three core features underpin this:

  • Fit AI: Delivers personalised size recommendations across both BRABAR sizing systems, translating seamlessly between S-M-L and traditional band-and-cup sizing from AA through to DDD/F. It utilises a proprietary database of 20,000+ verified fitting records to deliver size recommendations with 80% accuracy.

  • Style AI: Replicates the expertise of experienced lingerie stylists, analysing breast shapes, body types, and lifestyle requirements to match customers with optimal products from the retailer's catalogue.

  • Bra Education and Care AI: Provides real-time, multilingual guidance on bra care and fitting, with the same tone and attentiveness the BRABAR team is known for. It reduces customer service enquiries whilst empowering customers with knowledge.



Building on that foundation, BRABAR also became an early adopter of Brarista's mini chatbot, a newer product innovation designed specifically for the product page. Sitting directly beneath the add-to-cart button, it delivers quick, product-specific answers right at the moment a customer is deciding whether to buy, clarifying fit and compatibility details without requiring them to navigate away.

  • 1.7% of all site sessions converted into a chat interaction, demonstrating strong organic uptake without heavy promotion.

  • Customers who engaged with the chatbot spent an average of 26.9% more than those who didn't, suggesting that fit confidence translates directly into basket confidence.

  • Orders placed through the chatbot carried a return rate 1% lower than the site average, a meaningful signal that accurate sizing guidance is doing its job.
